Lead, manage, coach, and develop our local staff of account executives towards the goal of making and exceeding the collective market revenue goals.
- Actively participate in recruiting, hiring, and engaging in training new account executives to ensure constant staff improvement.
- Oversee radio advertising and digital sales activities of our local sales staff.
- Create results through other team members, manage team performance and hold team members accountable to agreed-upon business activity metrics.
- Devise and implement individual action plans helping team members improve and develop, creating a stronger overall team.
- Drive sales results, manage team performance, ensure proper activity conducive with achieving overall budget goals.
- Prepare quarterly revenue forecasts and budgets.
- Meet with key, target, developmental, and new accounts…help staff develop.
- Manage individual account lists to achieve maximum results.
- Work transparently and collaboratively across all departments and within our leadership team building internal trust…exhibit natural leadership skills.
- Maintain the highest levels of integrity, honesty, and transparency in all duties and activities.
- Strong understanding and specific track record in radio broadcasting, marketing, digital marketing, and promotions.
- Experience in, and knowledge of, prospecting, using effective consultative selling principles and techniques with proven ability to grow new business.
- Excellent leadership and coaching ability.
- Strong client service relationship-building skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in negotiating, closing and the ability to teach the staff.
- Persuasive communication skills; verbal and written proficiency.
- Engaging, curious, upbeat, optimistic, futuristic.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Stress tolerance, especially with tight deadlines and financial pressures.

- A 2 - 4-year college degree and/or equivalent is helpful but not required.
